Anti-Racism Symposium (Friday, February 13, 2:30 - 4:30)

In our interactive Antiracism Symposium, participants will explore how unconscious resistance to change—within ourselves, our institutions, and our policies—can undermine our commitments to equity and justice. Grounded in the Immunity to Change framework (Kegan & Lahey), this session will guide P–12 educators and IHE faculty through a structured process of reflection, dialogue, and problem-solving.

Together, we will examine real-world case studies and personal situational challenges that reveal hidden commitments and systemic barriers to progress toward diverse, equitable, and inclusive environments. Participants will collaborate to develop adaptive solutions that align with long-term professional and institutional goals. This experience will support educators and leaders in identifying next steps that are both personally meaningful and organizationally sustainable.
