In accordance with our by-laws, NASUP is seeking a Chairperson(s) to lead the initiatives and activities of its inaugural Research Committee, which shall:
…support, advocate for, and amplify research in and on PDSs and SUPs, and cultivate an inclusive community of researchers from both the academic and P-12 spheres who are committed to, and engaged in, research in this field. (NASUP By-Laws 4.3.2.9)
This is a volunteer position for a 3-year term, which will start July 1, 2024. Applicants must be members in good standing of NASUP. Applicants must also be currently or previously actively engaged in school-university research and/or scholarship.
The appointed chair will serve as part of the association’s leadership committee. The appointed chair will also have the option of serving a second term.
