2025 Emerging SUP Leader Award Recipients Emily Ellis & Claudia Reynolds, Salisbury University

For this year, there are two recipients of this award, both are undergraduate students who collaboratively work together. From Salisbury University, Emily Ellis and Claudia Reynolds.

These two aspiring leaders have served as the Seidel School of Education Student Support Coordinators in the Dean’s Office since January 2023.  In their roles, they lead a variety of stakeholder engagements that include interactions with faculty, staff, faculty candidates, members of the university leadership team, potential students and their families, school and district leaders. Emily and Claudia have also captured the attention of their clinical practice school principals, which is noteworthy in their semester prior to full-time internship.

One principal stated that Emily Ellis has been outstanding in every way! Her natural talent for building meaningful relationships with both students and staff, coupled with her unwavering dedication, has made her an invaluable part of our team.

Another principal shared: Claudia Reynolds has been an exceptional addition to the Magnet program as an intern in Mrs. Lewis’s 4th-grade classroom. Her vibrant personality and genuine passion for education have not only inspired the students but have also made her a valued member of the teaching team.~from 2025 Awards Ceremony
