The Antiracism Committee invites you to a discussion over lunch called The Problem We All Live With: Equity-Based Partnerships Admidst Political Backlash at this year’s NAPDS conference in Anaheim, California.
Here are the details!
- What: Lunch with Guided Discussion
- When: Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 11:30am to 1:00pm
- Cost: $50.00
- Who: Anyone!
We invite you to join members of NAPDS’s Anti-Racism Committee in a set of deliberative and constructive conversations around the challenges of working in schools, districts, colleges and universities within the context of a political backlash that is attempting to silence critical understandings of antiracism, equity, diversity, and inclusion. This session will include opening remarks and facilitated small group discussions with the hope of finding solidarity in our shared ideas and support. In the words of Margaret Mead, American cultural anthropologist, ‘Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world: Indeed it’s the only thing that ever has’. We hope you will join us for what will be an opportunity to collaborate and find support among like-minded colleagues and friends.
